Keith Lortie was born and raised in the Penetanguishene area. Woodworking has been in the Lortie family for five generations. After working a year in his uncle's custom furniture shop, he too chose a future in cabinet making. Keith attended Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario and graduated in 1990 with a certificate in Industrial Woodworking.

Kei-Lor Kitchen and Bath is located in Tiny, Ontario where the first generations of the Lortie's began the tradition of fine woodworking.
